Hi gang. I have a printer that's directly connected to my router via ethernet cable (the router has a built in switch). The router recognizes the printer, the desktop pc (running Win XP) recognizes and can print to the printer, BUT the laptop running Vista cannot print to the printer. Vista does see the printer on the network though. There are no other network issues other than printing from Vista.
I originally tried setting up the connection from Vista to the printer by using the "Add a network, wireless, or Bluetooth printer" wizard found at Start->Settings->Printers->Add a printer.
This is incredibly annoying and am surprised that something so basic is giving me fits. Can anyone help?
