Networked DVD Recorder

Aug 28, 2008 10:23PM PDT

I am looking for a networked DVD Player that will record DVD's to a networked Drive on my Home Network. I have been searching and most of them just have a Hard Drive on Board. Is there any that will allow me to do this?

Work around: add a TV card to your PC.

If it comes with recording software, you can record to any device your PC has access to.

I decided to go another route as I was looking to get internet radio access and store music but it might do the trick for you. You can use it to record from a DVD player to an external hard drive and then access the content on the HD with it as well.

I have looked at that as well my only concern is it records what it sees, therefore no chapters or extra features.

Just so you know.

Due to DRM issues, nothing should be found on the retail shelves that meets your specs. Sorry to have to break it to you but that DMCA, DRM, RIAA, MPAA would rip such a company apart for offering this.
