Forget those titles and save the image of the disc to some .ISO and get a player for that .ISO. This way you get the full content without loss.
It's been well discussed so I won't duplicate beyond "re-encoding degrades the content." It's that simple.
What I have:
Iomega 2TB Network Hard Drive Cloud Edition
Cisco Linksys E1000 Router
I want to save/rip my DVD's to the hard drive and wirelessly stream them to a blu-ray player. I am using Handbrake and AnyDVD to save the movies to the hard drive and they are saved as MPEG-4 files.
1. Is this the best format to save the movies and not sacrifice sound and video quality? I want to keep at least 5.1 or better sound.
2. Which Blu-ray player should I purchase? (I had a Sony BDP-S580 and it will not play MPEG-4 files via DLNA.)
