Network problem

May 8, 2007 10:49AM PDT

Hello all,

I have a 15'' MBP C2D, with tiger. THe problem i have is little weird i think.

So when i click on the empty desktop..FINDER comes up on the top bar, near the blue apple logo. Then i click on GO and then on NETWORK. Earlier, whenever i used to do this...a Finder window used to come up and Network being highlighted and the servers and My network, etc.

But now, after GO when i click on Network...nothing happens..no window. i tried using the shortcut apple+shift+K...again nothing happens. I tried clicking on Applications via this same GO menu.....a new finder window comes with the applications..etc as it used to. Only Network submenu is not working.

any idea what's going on?

to me and a reboot usually fixes it.

If you do not want to reboot, you can also use the "Connect to Server" option from the Go menu.
You will need to know the name or IP address of the machine that you want to connect to.
