network Private at residence

I was burglarized an two laptops an a tablet were stolen I have the backups and NAS drive on my NETGEAR can I open an use network passwords to to retrieve data an set up the new laptop to complete network. Or start a new network on this main laptop, some stuff are working in the house tablets tv's but the new laptop I haven't setup network

I can't know your backup and restore plan but if you did backup to some NAS then that system should document a restore method.

That network was done on Windows 8 will I have problems if I give it network password an retrieve information to Windows 10.

I have the whole network or My Nook HD+ an it can see everything, on NetGear App .
Just Windows 10 HP not set up.

Some backup and restore software fails when you change PCs or OS so no one can predict this.

This is why I rarely use software like a Netgear App. I use the old fashioned file sync systems that are OS agnostic. I'm sure there are folk that love Backitup GuiPlus but having seen too much loss over the years I go with file sync and drive image backups today.

In other words, I plan for the day when I need to restore.
