Three printers take up more space than one. Space saving s can be a plus. One printer means that, if it breaks (and until you can fix it or get a new one) you will not be printing. This can be a minus.
I'm trying to find a "pro/con" of having network printers as opposed to desktop printing. I'm trying to justify to upper management that is is better to have one multi-user network laser printer that cost $600+ as opposed to three single personal laser printers that cost $100 (after rebates) <aaargggh>. It's for our shipping department and they need something quick, reliable, and 200+ pages per day.
