I would check the drivers to see if they are vista ready
We have a wireless network with a desktop which has cable internet, wireless router and digital phone adapter conected to it. It also has 2 printers connected by usb connection. We then have 2 laptop computers with a wireless connection and we print through the network. One is a Brother and the other a Canon. Everything was working fine, but I had to do a reinstall of Windows XP Pro on the desktop, I reinstalled the printer drivers and software and set up the network again. The Brother works fine but the one laptop with Windows Vista wont work with the Canon. The other laptop had Windows XP and that ones ok, before I did the reinstall on the desktop the Can worked fine with the Vista pc. Below is the message I get when I try to connect the Canon printer to the vista laptop.
Connect to Printer
Windows cannot connect to the printer.
The specified print monitor is unknown.
Thank you for your time and I hope someone can help me
