"NETWORK PATH WAS NOT FOUND"

Apr 13, 2005 7:50PM PDT

Hi everbody,

i m working in a company. My network used to work and I can't seem to figure out any reason why it won't now. I wanna access the main office network. Well, in my network computers are connected via ethernet, My network is connected to the other network by router.

I can access the computers within my network when i try to access the computer on other network of our company, I get error message "NETWORK PATH WAS NOT FOUND"

From the other network, my network is accesible.there is no problem.

Does anyone have ideas as to what could be my problem..

Systems: Win 2000 proff.

I'd appreciate any thoughts and advice as to what might fix this. Thanks in advance!

Vikas

Hi Vikas:

Everything was fine on my setup until Windows XP updated. I wonder if the security patch from yesterday applied to 2000 Professional as well, and affected your network accordingly. Do you know if you had a Windows update there? (Not sure how the Professional side works.)

Regards,

Jack
