Network path was not found

Sep 3, 2007 1:25AM PDT

i setup a workgroup for the windows xp computers.
but one of my computers can't access others using computer name.
it can see the computers on the network and can access using ip address like \\192.168.1.100
but if i want to access like \\comp_name, i get "Network path was not found"
i searched on the net and tried things like turn off firewall, but it does not help.

i would really appreciate any suggestion thanks

1. No spaces in computer names.
2. Use the HOSTS file.
