Resolved Question

Network monitor

Nov 20, 2011 7:19PM PST

Can someone recommend a free Windows network monitor? Specifically, I'd like something that can notify me when I lose internet connectivity? Bonus points if it can do some some of analysis and give me an idea of *why* the connection was lost.

Comment. I don't know how useful this will be. Personally I don't use anything. I know when my system loses connectivity and my Windows 7 helps me diagnose the problem.

Good luck.

I'll check out the application in that other thread--it's looks like it might do the trick. I'm surprised though that finding such an app is proving this difficult. I'll give the CNET downloads another scour. Thanks again.
