"Network Interference Occurred" Using Blu-Ray Player BD-D6700

Apr 10, 2015 10:10PM PDT

Hello all! So, for the past few days I have been unable to connect to the Internet and access my apps using my Samsung Blu-Ray Player BD-D6700. Instead, I get a message saying, "Network interference occurred. Please try again later." I have reset my system twice with no luck. I just see the same message. This came out of the blue. I have never had this issue before. There have been no new updates since 9/14. Im not sure what to do at this point. Anyone else having the same issue?

Hello,

Yes, I have tried resetting the network and yes I have tried to hard reset the blu ray player. All I get is a message stating, "Network setting is completed. But cannot connect to the internet. Contact your internet service provider to use Internet service." I have no problem connecting to the internet on my other devices, so I'm not sure how my internet service is the problem.

Answer
Update the DNS manually.

Hi,

Try to change the settings under the network settings. Do not know the exact path. But this will be under the IP settings. Set it Manually and changing the values to 8.8.8.8

Give it a try.

Regards,
MoSa

Set all my settings to 8.8.8.8? Just curious, what does that do?

Not all your settings! Just the IP-address of the DNS-server. Make a note of what it was, so you can go back if it doesn't help.

What this does: it tells your device to use another DNS-server. Sometimes that helps against some problems.
