Network HELP!!!!

by ibmacse / November 11, 2006 7:16 AM PST

I got a new laptop about a month ago from dell. It came with windows media center on it. I soon found out that I wouldn't be able to do as many networking things with that operating system so I went out and bought XP Pro. When I installed it I lost everything. All programs... So then I installing all the drivers and programs tat came with the laptop so all the parts would work. But when I went to connect to my network at my house my laptop didn't say that it was there. It did connect to the wireless internet but no printers or anything. Anybody have any ideas on what might have happened?

Thanks

After installing all necessary drivers, run the network setup wizard. Enable file and printer sharing and use the same workgroup name as the other computers on your network.
