I'd comment, but you need to define "freeze". Some are total lockups which point to one road of treatment. Another freeze is not a lockup, but a delay that clears up in a short while. The first points to the person who installs the OS but doesn't know about drivers or good hardware. The second may be an issue with protocols or servers issues. Your post is far too lightwieght for me to comment further except for one thing.
It's a business. Hire a good person to take care of it.
A network setup of 14 stations freeze up at the same time on occassion. The server is Win2000svr, stations are mixed with Win98se, XP Pro and Win2000, Internet connection using Directway Satellite to Win2000 computer (192.168.0.1) using ICS, One wireless access point to two computers. The rest of the stations 10/100 LAN connection through a total of 4 switches. Thorough virus, adware & spybot protection. Problem has developed within last three months and having difficult time isolating problem. Event viewer (svr)showing netlogon error from time to time as well. Would there be systematic approach to troubleshooting this problem?
