on my laptop in network devices, i found a device called ( RTK-AP ) any ideas what this does or is used for ???? it next to my router device.

That's the default name of many ReakTek WiFi drivers.

My bet is the laptop maker opted to omit documents but a google seems to reveal it's normal.
