Network Connections Popup

How do you shut the Network connections popup off. Ever since I d/l'ed service pack 2 for the XP it seems to pop up all the time. The message is: "a program has requested information from the internet. which program do you want to use?" (AOL, MSN, etc) I can only go to settings and tell it to not ask again while I am logged on... Next restart it is back at it. Thanking you in advance...

While in the setting area... look for 'launch at windows start up' or Allow to run in the background' or something similar, that related to auto connection.

also look in the 'Startup' folder ... (Depend on what you have installed, you might see something or nothing, in there) -- FYI, my startup folder is empty

Good Luck

Thanks! I rummaged around in control panel and found network connections. I shut off some stuff and I hope that was all it took...
