Hi, I have one PC with two Ethernet adapters. Both the adapters have been bridged together. One of the adapters is used for internet browsing connected directly to the router while the other is used for connecting laptops for faster transfers on the network. But recently I have bought this new Toshiba laptop which does connect to the Ethernet adapter and displays the message "LAN not connected" and "A cable is unplugged".
The Ethernet adapter cable works fine on the PC with the old laptop. The Ethernet also works on the new laptop as it works fine when connected directly from through router. The new laptop however does not recognise the cable plugged in its Ethernet adapter, when connected through PC's bridged adapter. I am missing few things on the settings of the Ethernet adapter of the laptop but not really sure, what is that.
Please it will be great if someone can help me with my problem, as I cannot see any problem with any of the hardware in of the laptops or PC.
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
