One of the reasons I pull back to WPA (no 2).
A friend was having trouble connecting to her home wireless network with her Dell laptop running Windows XP. She has a Linksys WRT600N router. So, she reset the router to factory default settings and applied the latest router firmware from Linksys. She then reconfigured her router security using WPA2-Personal. After that she was able to connect. Shortly after, her laptop suddenly goes to a blue screen with a message ?beginning dump of physical memory? and then restarts. She has tried a few times with the same results. She then connected to a neighbor's unsecured network and it works just fine. If she goes back to her network, she gets the same blue screen message and it restarts.
We would appreciate any feedback on what could be causing this and suggested solutions. Thanks.
