I have a loptop with Windows Vista home basic. I have got a broadband connection set in it. But whenever I boot the computer it always pops up and i have to cancel it three times before the programme can be closed. Is there any way of closing this auto start of the connection, can it be tunes to open only when I require? Thnx in advance for all the help coming in the way

What, exactly, pops up?

In addition to that crucial bit of information, did you install any software from your cable/phone company to support the internet connection?

Let us know.
