HI to all!

I have Netscape 8 and i recently downloaded it. On the right panel on the botton there is a bar which is the security center. at all times says with a yellow letters, NO FULL SCAN and then when i expand the button,9open the security center) it says spyware protection: no full scan
then i click on run scan it says that i dont have the requiered permissions to run the scan and im login as the default mask of netscape and in windows xp the administrator, why is this? why can't i run the full scan

I do not have or us that browser, but do you have to register with Netscape to be a "member" ?

There have been tons of complaints about this since version 8.1 was released in January and there's no definitive solution or patch available. The best I can suggest is make sure you have permission to access and modify \defaults\safetynet and \spywatch in the netscape installation directory. If that doesn't work, just ignore it until they correct the problem.
