Netscape is based on Mozilla, and Netscape is owned by AOL. Personally, I wouldn't use anything associated with AOHell.

Hi! How are you? I do not know if it is the forum to ask but I would like to know, what is happening to the Netscape browser, is it dead or is there another version coming, I read some stories on the web concerning a version call 7.2 an upgrade from 7.1 now, I would like to know because I want to download it and test it, but if there is another version coming soon I will wait, but I do not know if it is only rumours or something. Because I am searching for an alternative to Internet Explorer, but can not find one with a very solid support, because Mozilla the support are not very kind.
I had some experiences with them in the past, I tried to create some questions because I was struggling with their software(browser and E-mail client) but got punch very hard. Anyway I just wanted to know about Netscape, there is some others out there, but most of them are IE based, but I am not very interested. Do not know what to do.
My message is long enough.
Thank you.
I am out...
When you have problem with some softwares or the computer, you do not want to be bashed or laughed at or ignored. Or to be ridiculed.
I do not want to use IE, because there is some DSO Exploit problem, that is what it is saying on my Spybot Search and Destroy. It worries me.
