Read http://forums.cnet.com/7723-7589_102-588902/adding-second-router/?tag=contentBody;threadListing where we go back and forth over a common solution. I read you want the link to be wireless so you are headed right into an area and setup I never do.

Hello,
I am new to this forum so I am sorry if I do not give all details needed!
I have a Netgear DG834G which is connected to the broadband line at one side of my house. The signal for this is terrible and I preffer using a wired connection anyway but the problem is my computer is the opposite side of the house from the router.
I have a spare TP-Link TD-W8961ND Router here in my room. I would like to connect the TP-Link router to the netgear router wirelessly and then be able to connect my computer and other devices such as NAS Drive to the TP-link router in my room.
Is this possible and if so is anyone able to shed some light as how to do this?
If it means flashing the routers then I am more than happy to do this if needed.
Many Thanks In Advance.
