netflix streaming problem with samsung bd1600 player

by leslie3644 / November 2, 2009 7:08 AM PST

When watching Netflix instant movies they constantly stop and you have to restart or it will stop and say the title is unavalable. Have reset bd1600 player and it still does it. Very frustrating. have talked to Samsung support and Netflix and they play the blame game. Samsung Tv, wireless connection from bluray to computer. Hp computer running Vista 64 bit, CenturyLink(formerly Embarq) modem, 660 series.

In the cases where some titles aren't available, it may be that the licensing of the movie by Netflix expired between the time you queued them, and the time you attempted to watch them.

If all of the titles are unavailable, I would definitely call Netflix at 866-716-0414 to see if they can assist you with troubleshooting.

I have the same problem trying to watch Netflix on Panasonic
by michelleandbelle / February 5, 2011 12:57 PM PST

Have you figured out what to do about your issue? I just bought a Panasonic blu-ray player to go with our Panasonic TV. Had to buy a wireless adaptor to plug into the back of the player. Sometimes it connects to our wireless internet, sometimes it won't. Sometimes we can watch a movie through Netflix instant, most of the time we cannot without the movie stopping 10 to 20 times to "retrieve" and sometimes near the end of movie it will say "movie is not available at this time". Very frustrating!! Same story with Panasonic blaming CenturyLink, CenturyLink blaming my wireless router, etc. I do have an older "G" router. Wish I knew if that was the problem and what router would be best. Please let me know if you have a solution!

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
