Question

Netflix on Smart TV

by smmcco / September 13, 2012 8:29 AM PDT

I recently bought a Panasonic 55" Class SMART VIERA® 1080p 120Hz LED Edge Lit HDTV. It is connected to the Internet through my wireless router. However, whenever I try to use Netflix, it starts to load, the progress bar comes on the screen for a short time, and then it inexplicably exits. No idea why. Anyone have any ideas?

You call it in and if they don't fix it, you have a warranty issue. Then you decide to keep it or return it.

FWIW, I ran a simple ethernet cable to the next room where my parent's HDTV is located. Made a huge difference. Rock solid now.

But it's also possible that there's more involved. You probably should give more specifics about what you've tested thus far. Example- what if you try to stream the same Netflix content w/ your PC/laptop? Does it work there on the same network?

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
