Netflix on PN58C7000 Reboots TV On Some Programs

Whenever I try to stream Spongebob on my TV it just sits there and then restarts the TV. Other movies and TV programs work just fine but this one freezes up. It's happened in the past with some other programs too.

Has anybody had this happen and what ended up fixing it? My son is driving me crazy wanting to watch "his show", so this one is top of my list to figure out. LOL

Samsung Tech,

It will load to Netflix and other programs play fine but when I select to see the Spongebob episode list it freezes up Netflix where I can't cancel the action or anything. Then the TV SEEMS to reset but not power down. The screen goes black the red light comes on in the bottom right corner which usually means the TV is powered off but then it turns back on by itself.

I have the same issue, I think it is related to NetFlix on Samsung TV's. Some Netflix shows play flawlessly, others make the TV go blank and then come back on. I am on my second "Smart TV" with the same issues, it recently started to reboot as well.

It's all of them. When you go to select SpongeBob period it locks up. It won't even let me get to the episode selection. They currently only have a single Spongebob group to select. I know it's working on their end because it works fine on my Panasonic 42".

lock up and reboot on netflix

I have the same problem but not with just spongue bob. It seems to happen randomly on netflix. Almost like the tv got an update and reboots on its own. We will be watching it the program will lock up for a few seconds then it goes black and we get the samsung smart tv screen and it is back to normal tv. I can't replicate it because i will go back to the same movie and it works fine. It will almost do this at least once a day.

Same here.
Randomly, after about an hour of watching Netflix, the image will freeze and the TV will reboot.
My model un55d6450.
Is it a bug in the app?

I get the same freeze and reboot, it started probably a week to a week and a half ago, maybe two weeks very tops. All i've watched is Mythbusters and it started doing it periodically but it's getting more frequent. It has done it two or three times today. Usually it just goes black for a few seconds then reboots the tv, but today one time the sound froze too and it made a loud buzzing sound for louder than usual (5-7 seconds) and then rebooted. Upgrading software now to see if this fixes the issue.
