Also, consider small claims court.
I've been happily watching movies on Netflix using my blu ray player, BSP-F5500. It's rather old, I know, but up until now things worked fine. That is until I was asked to update the firmware. I did so, and then I launched the Netflix app and saw that it got also updated to the latest version. Problem is, now everytime I try to watch a movie, they take a lot more to start playing and when they do, subtitles are always out of sync and after a few minutes the movie starts freezing and skipping constantly, sometimes I even have to pull the plug and restart it. It feels as if the new app is too demanding for this player's hardware. So, why did Samsung bundle this version with the firmware update? Did they just cripple my player? Am I screwed? It feels Samsung either purposely did this to make my player obsolete, or they screwed up. Both cases are unacceptable.
I have tried everything, even hard resetting. I need help please.
