And must be treated with care. The usual MP3 player is built tough by comparison so while I have zero issues with turning it on and off there are some that need a rugged device like the usual MP3 player.
I own one of the Acer Aspire One 8.9 inch models and it's very nice.

I don't know this is the proper forum but here goes. I want a device that is cheap (already have a home laptop and desktop) that I can take to work and access the internet sometimes via free wi-fi.
The particulars, I can't justify a data plan for my phone monthly for this purpose. Also, I would like a MP3 player to listen to my music via speakers I wont use plugs.
My question now....will the little solid state netbooks hold up to the off and on 3 or 4 times a day every day plus maybe music thru the day? Or would I be better off with an iPod with wi-fi?
The size does not matter as I am not going to carry either in my pocket or use head phones.
What do you think.......its really a durability question I guess.
