.net framework is missing error when USB inserted on XP

Hi guys

I have a problem with my XP Netbook (Toshiba NB100-128), which is that when I try to insert a USB stick/Memory card into it, an error message appears saying the ".net framework is missing"

Thanks, Jay

The USB doesnt work

Sorry just to clarify, when I insert a USB/Memory card, that message appears and won't let me load anything onto the laptop from the USB/Memory card

Then get scanning.

.NET is not required so that's a sign of some infection. A second thought is some antivirus wants to scan the stick but you didn't reveal much but the message and the OS.

Get scanning first.
