That I've run into such install problems with firewalls installed. It's not funny I have to rip out Zonealarm, maybe disable or rip out popup stoppers and more, as well as have no spyware before .NET installs.
There is no simple "do this" involved.

Since the ZA6 installation/removal problems I had (now solved), I have come up with a new one, which I am sure is connected, since I have installed no other software,or done any major changes to the system. I use Access Manager 2 as my password store (and don't need to go there often as this is a one-user system and I usually allow Windows/Mozilla to remember the pw). However, I did need to access it acouple of days ago & to my horror received the following error: .NET Framework Initilisation Error. C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\framework\V1.1.4322\msconwks.dll could not be loaded. I then checked in Add/Remove programs to see that this update no longer showed, checked Windows explorer - where it did show. Tried to redownload 1.1 and the update but neither would insstall- gave me a strange error code -0xc000007b and then shut down. Because of this I am unable to access certain sites or MS Passport and am now desperate for a solution. Has any one got one?
