nero vision express dvd (audio prob)

I am using NeroVision Express 2 to burn video files to watch them on a dvd player (the files are .avi files, mainly). Everything seems fine except for the audio. For some reason, after a little while the audio is not on track with the video (i.e. sound not in sync w/the video - like watching a badly dubbed movie). This happens even before I burn it into the DVD; it happens when I preview the movie on Nero (and it burns the same way). Is this something common with NeroVision or is something amiss? How do I fix this?

Thanks for the help!

Wstlnd, Does It Also Happen??....

...if you view the original file in another player such as Windows Media Player or RealPlayer. Either one of those players will also play .avi files..

Clearly, if it happens in all players, then the original file is bad. If it plays good in those other players, then you've got an issue with NeroVision.

Have you checked the Nero site to see if there are updates for your program? Frequently, there are updates/patches for those types of problems.

Hope this helps.

the vids work fine in other players. only do not work in nero. I checked the website, I don't find any fixes - there are fixes for a later version of the program (v.3), but I have v.2.

any other suggestions? anyone have had these probs?
