Question

Nero Software Crashes

Aug 2, 2012 3:26PM PDT

I recently re-installed my Windows XP and updated it. I've heard about Nero 9 (and presumably other Neros) crashing XP with the blue screen error.

Can anyone recommend an alternative for video burning and especially for photo editing (sharpening, cropping, etc) that doesn't crash my system?

I'm going with no assurances.

Machines that crash usually have issues. While I do like DVDFLICK for making video DVDs and GIMP, there is no assurance that your machine is ready for them.

Works with new machine

I recently bought a new computer with a 1TB hard drive and 16G of memory and while it has features that don't require using Nero, I kept the PhotoSnap program and it looks like it works great. The Nero was crashing my old computer.
