Nero Multimedia Suite 10

Be cautious when installing this program. Its autobackup program sets itself up automatically and quietly starts performing backups. It "sniffs out" large external hard drives and sets itself up, using it as target. I could not understand why my WD 1.5 terabyte drive started shrinking. Even after figuring out how to turn it off, I am stuck with trying to delete the gigabytes of backup files. I already have another backup (imaging) program and have no use for this.
I've always loved and used the Nero burning products, but this program in the suite has cost me hours of grief.

Nero Multimedia Suite 10 purchase

I mostly ordered Nero Multimedia Suite 10 to be WIN7 compliant. My older Nero burning software would not run with my WIN7 upgrade. I just wish that the backup part did not automatically install and "do its thing". I had to delete almost 500 gb of backups it created. Then I had to defrag my 1.5 tb drive.

But it's just a little sad that your post will be listed in Google as a 'complaint against...' discussion, where in fact the software was doing what it was designed to do.

We see this type of post all to frequently and when we dig deeper, we often find the fault is not the software itself, but elsewhere.
