I have Power DVD and if it fails I uninstall and reinstall that.

VLCPLAYER can play VOB files if you need a replacment.

It was available on January 31st, 2006 and it is version 6.6.14. I already updated mine to the latter version and the language pack; if you have it in your system, Nero Showtime is also available from: www.nero.com Darrell

nero 6.6 is better

The say happend to me after installing nero 7.I had previously had 6.6 installed.Nero 7 started changing files to other apps with its showtime icon and wasn't as reliable as 6.6. When i tried to uninstall 7 it wouldn't let me and the same when installing 6.6 again.I had to download a add-on to nero 7(vision express 3 or 4).Eventually i managed to uninstall 7 and install 6.6, but when ever i wanted to convert avi-dvd,(create your own dvd movie)a registration form would keep coming up for vision express3 for nero 7,which i had totally uninstalled (weird).
Anyway when i reformated my pc and installed nero 6.6 everything was fine and still is.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
