Nero "Dolby Digital 2 channel decoding" plug in ?

Nov 13, 2005 9:43AM PST

Hi, I currently have Nero Burning Rom 6,6,0,16 installed onto my computer. When I am using nero vision exprss 3 I am able to load dvd video into the program but when It finishes it always comes up with the message that I need to install "Dolby Digital 2 channel decoding" I can't find this plug in anywhere except for sale on the official nero web site? Can someone please help me? Alternatively could convert dvd files into mpeg, but I do not want to loose quality of video or sound? Thanks for any help.

same problem

I have the same problem, except I have the nero startsmart version 1.0.1.27. Can't get sound to work at all. At the start of any DVD it offers to let me buy the plug-in, but when I click on it, it only offers the latest box version of Nero that costs about 80$. Why would I pay that when I already have the software except for this blasted plug-in? Any help would be appreciated.

Maybe Dolby Digital is not being used by me. I did remember at the beginning (after installing Nero6) I had to go to their website to download some plug-in (free) though.
