If the target system is on FAT32, the decompress will fail since FAT32 doesn't allow a file over 4GB in size. There is no fix forthcoming from Microsoft for FAT32 to allow this.
Bob
Recently I reinstall my window XP from SP2 to XP. So I backed up some of my files with NERO Backitup.
I backed up one directory "Pinnacle Studio" containing several subdirectories and files from Pinnacle Studio program including by the captured video AVI file of 6.5 GB. So I used two DVDs to back it up.
After installing new window XP (not the SP2), I could not restore this two DVD back to harddisk completely.
Only some small files and the directories can be restore but the capture video file (.AVI) could not. The restore log file says " fail to decompress ..AVI."
When I click the file and try to open using NRB.exe, ity also says "Can not decompress file".
The file extension is .AVI.NC_
Anyone can explain and find solution for me, please?
Thank you,
Liem KF
