I have just recently downloaded nero 7 from this site and everytime i goto load it says that the serial number has expired. can anyone help me to solve this problem?

You said "this site". Do you mean Download.com, or some other place.
Did you download it through P2P? eg Limewire, Kazaa, etc

Sorry, I've just re-read your first post.
The file you downloaded from Download.com would have been the installer file to install the trial version onto your computer.
Which stage is failing, the installation, or trying to run the application afterwards?

i can get to the nero install wizard
every thing is fine untill i get to customer info
i type in username
then it asks for organization....
then serial number which is allready there
i then goto continue box and this message appears
serial number has expired please enter a differnt serial number
if i goto "how to find serial number " it asks me to install disk
i have just tryed that
it say's "incorrect serial number entered carefully enter your serial number again"
CNET Downloads would not, (or should not), include a serial number in their download. It suggests that the download file is incorrect, and yet as it is only an installer, I would not have expected it to have included a serial number.
Try this. Delete all the information from that Customer Details section, eg do not enter a name or Company name, or serial number, etc, then click Next. The trial version and the full version should look the same, except the trial version needs no personal details.
Are you sure it is the Nero 7 Ultra Edition in the link I gave? That file is 170MB and is a large download. If it is not that one, please give us the web site url of the site you downloaded it from.
If all else fails, I would suggest the download is corrupt and you should uninstall Nero 7 and re-download the trial version from Nero's site itself;
