Needed: Free disk partitioning software for Vista

Aug 2, 2008 9:58PM PDT

While I lost nothing, I now have 100+ gigs free space on my second hard drive that I'd like to use. I need FREE software that'll run on Vista that will let me resize partitions so I can regain that space.

TIA, Paul

use the built in tool

Vista comes with a built in partition manager.

Go to Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Disk Management.
Self explanatory from there.

...for whatever reason - I already tried. Run it in Safe Mode, perhaps?

Perhaps, but...

Be sure to define how, exactly, it's not working. (Error message, missing option, etc.)
