need xp help

i reformatted my laptop just now and i reinstalled xp. when i start it up it, the desktop starts up, but i have nothing, no sound, no internet connections, nothing but the bare essentials. how do i get my sound and internet connections to work?

contain drivers for said devices. You have to get them from the laptop site. Since you gave no information on that front, that's about all I can say.

If the laptop has the restoral CD(s), the drivers will be there.
