Are you sure it's a 32-bit edition?

Double-check your system properties for the 32-bit or 64-bit edition. If it's 64-bit you'll need to click here for the proper driver.

Hope this helps,
John

Not Supported On Vista??
Jul 24, 2007 3:53AM PDT

A 2004 version of Symantec is fairly old and as a result, I don't believe it was one of the supported versions. According to Symnantec, "Unless Windows Vista compatibility is stated on the box or product page, all Norton products made available prior to the release Windows Vista will need to be updated to support the Windows Vista operating system."

Hope this helps.

Just sharing.

Not meaning to intrude on confuse but last weeks new Vista laptop had me dispense the free 90 days of Norton.

I installed Free AVG and all seems well. I'm currently in "testing" mode and haven't added another firewall yet. I'm seeing how Vista's will work out.

-> UAC is going to get shot soon unless it stops pestering us.

I've Used Avast and AVG on Vista

...and so far, I've seen no issues but that's just my limited personal experience at this time.

Hope this helps.
