Question

Need TV help ASAP!

Feb 2, 2014 1:42AM PST

Hey guys. I'm driving myself crazy about 2 plasmas. Need to decide on a new 65S64 I found at 1 Costco $1300.(sold out everywhere on east coast except 1) or a floor model 60 St60. for around $1000

Should I be worried about buying a floor model? I was going to go in there and put some solid screens up to see if I see any IR and was going to check the hours. Sears also has a 60 inch floor model. They also have one brand new 55 inch st60 for $1350.

So basically I'm asking is the picture on the st better enough to buy display model to sacrifice the 5 inches of a brand new s64? Need opinions please.

PS...using mainly for cable and some bluray/gaming. Only offline casual gaming. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the suggestion but its too much money. Its on amazon for $1747 and its only a 55 inch. Hard to pay that much when both plasma are cheaper and have better picture quality. I'm only going to use the TV for casual gaming (single player campaigns) so I'm pretty confident I'll be ok with either the s64 or st60. I use my 24 inch TN monitor for online gaming.

BTW, this versus that discussion has been pretty well done.
