Need to print out lots of envelopes at a time

Jul 17, 2006 7:22AM PDT

Hi,
I am doing some mass mailings for work, and I've had some bad luck finding laser printers that print out envelopes efficiently and quickly.

In addition to the letters, I print several hundred envelopes at a time.

Any suggestions?

I'm thinking I may be stuck having to shell out a ton of money for a monster just so my envelopes print out well and I don't have to sit there feeding them into the machine, but you folks have helped me with my quandries before, so I wanted to see what you have to say!

Thanks in advance.

Time to start using windowed envelopes.

One more thing...

I appreciate the input, but window envelopes aren't an option.

I'm not opposed to getting another printer for envelopes. I've heard that there are some cheaper printers that I can load up to 30 envelopes at a time. It may be an option.

Though I use a laser printer for the letters, I am not against finding something other than laser for the envelopes.

I know there's something out there that will suit my needs!

That's gotta hurt.

I wonder what land of Dilbert would force someone not to use the easy out.

No Dilbert land. There's just a specific reason I don't use windowed envelopes. They would be easier, but in this case, easier isn't better.

Thanks for the input though.

Clear labels

Why not use "clear address labels"?

If you're set on printing on envelopes, then expect costs to rise. Even then, because of the medis(envelope) this is a special use printer. Further, you'll get away from typical pc user printing and start into special needs and that always costs more. The price of business once you get into "large quanties" isn't easy but I suggest you see a sample printing or demo if possible before buying.
