1) You can have an all-in-one multifunction printer etc. device connected to the Dell. It will continue to do all the things you have come to expect from it.
or,
2) You can have a dumb printer on a network print server (wired or wireless, from any of the reputable network equipment brands).
You can't have both. Multifunction printers don't multi- any more when put on a network.

Hey all, I need some help here...let me just list all the components I have:
1. Dell Dimension 4700 (p4 2.4 ghz)
2. P3, 733 System (Yeah, it's old)
3. HP LaserJet 3030 All-In-One
4. Belkin Wireless G2 Router
5. Laptop w/Belkin Wireless G2 card
Currently I have the printer hooked up to my dell computer, and i'm just sharing off of that to the other two machines.
What I want to do is hook the printer up to the network, so that the dell doesn't have to be on if you want to print. I have the belkin wireless g2 router, if I need to buy anything else, let me know...
thanks
