Need to have my own CD of my song

Hi! I want to record my own song on my computer and make some CD of it. Is there a software i need to install?And what if i will order or purchase a software on Cnet, Do ihave to use card number to pay for this?Am i secure of using my visa card? pls I am hoping for ur advice , Annet

if you want the absolute easiest way but probably wont sound very good,, get a cheap mic and plug it into your soundcard, go to sound recorder in your accesories menu and go at it,, if you are serious about the music you want something professional like a high quality sound card/ audio interface, good mics and a good recording program ,, steinburg cubase,, but thats very high quality.
