need to filter xxx

for some reason, my computer has been opened so that xxx sites are linked. i went to the source to stop it, but they are still there, just not appearing on the task bar anymore, anyway i can remove it completely?

...to run some Spyware removal tools. (It would also help if you told us more about your computer, such as Operating System, processor speed, type of internet connection, etc.) Click on both of the links below, download the free spyware removal tools to your desktop, then install the programs, update them from within their user interface, then run them. Delete all spyware they find. BE AWARE, some "freeware" programs may cease to function (Like KaZaa) if they are dependent on the spyware to run. Still, it's better to find new "freeware" than to suffer through the junk.

Spybot Search & Destroy Spyware Removal Tool

Hope this helps and let us know any specific spyware and files names that you might have detected.
