Need to Download MS Publisher asap

by shelbydog2 / October 21, 2014 8:18 PM PDT

My son has a school project due FRIDAY. He brought home his started project yesterday on a flash drive and it's a .pub file. He did it in Publisher. (it's a booklet and apparently has to be in publisher but the teacher didn't check to see if we had this at home!) I have the MS office suite but it doesn't have publisher. I tried a free download and it then asks for a key code which I don't have. I see I can buy the software download from Amazon for $93 but I also see a key code for another $90+ bucks. Do I need BOTH?? And is the Amazon download sufficient and safe? I have a 3 yr old laptop (Samsung) with either Vista or 7. Any suggestions? The project involves alot of photos, citations, etc - the local library has Publisher on one of their PC's but that PC has no internet service!! So we'd have to save stuff, and then copy and paste it all.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
