General discussion

need suggestions

Feb 28, 2011 8:58AM PST

My brother bought a used 2000 Corolla VE, and the car DVD sucks. So, I want to buy her a new one for her birthday, but
I have a very limited budget. My friend told me that Xtrons is the way to go.

What are my options? Ebay for a used one? Other brands? Except your suggestions! Thank you very much.

I compete in car DVD player, it's my hobby. I doubt I would pay less than $500 for new head unit but that's just me. At
the lower levels, you need to decide what features are the most important for you and then read reviews on what brand
in those features.
