Need suggestion.

I am looking for a mp3 unit that fits my needs. many exist with cell phones , but I dont want that part of cell phone being conscious of cell phone radiation effects.

1. mp3 player . maybe 8GB
2. able to show text and pdf files for reading
3. address book, able to enter and store along with synching option.
of course as cheap as possible.
I appreciate any suggestions about the company and models of the units fits that need
