The only one that comes close to usable is the dual core model. 4GB and any dual core on today's Windows 7 or Linux beats all the rest in my books.
Sorry but there must be a story here if you are going with some refurb 3 month warranty machine.
I in the market for buying a laptop I want to buy a 12-14 inch laptop and it seems that most of these have 1.6 ghz or less processor speed.
I will mainly be using word, internet browsing and streaming, listning to music and watching movies. Quite a lot of multi-tasking with several windows and tabs open. (mostly internet ones)
Will having 1.2-1.6 ghz processor speed be sufficient if there is 2-4 gb RAM?
For the simple tasks that I will be carrying out, how much does it matter if is Dual Core processors or regular ones?
Does it matter a great deal if the RAM is DDR2, DDR3 or DDR4?
Here is an example of the computers i am considering;

Intel? Celeron? Processor 900

AMD Athlon? Neo X2 Dual-Core Processor for Ultrathin Notebooks L335
