After the trial period expired SPAMNIX for Eudora is asking for a registration code but the company is no longer selling the product and the website will not reply to e-mails.

Spamnix continues to function
by jhmeyers / July 2, 2011 9:17 PM PDT

I installed Spamnix, and it seems to methat it continues to function in perpetuity,
even though it may occasionally display
a reminder that it isn't registered.

The Spamnix web site continues to be kept running,
and the relevant abundant support info which it contains
appears when any "Help" button in Spamnix is pressed.

As you have noted, Spamnix is no longer updated,
and also no longer accepts sales (click the "Buy now" button to see this).

I suggest that you edit the file "Spamnix.ini"
found in the "Plugins" folder within your Eudora "Data" folder,
and remove the line that begins with "mailinfo="

See whether this reduces the frequency of reminders from Spamnix.

There is some discussion that some browsers and clicking the icon to the right of that smiley makes for unhappy posts.
