So I have this laptop, a packers bell easynote ts, had it around a month and it's worked fine, bought it new. Last night I left it on overnight and I came back to it today, the screen was on but frozen, so of course I restarted it to find that the screen doesn't come on at all. I can here it starting up and the LED lights are on, just the screen is black, help please!

Seems a warranty issue. Take it with you to the shop and let them fix it.
You'll void the warranty by opening the case yourself.

Hi, thanks for replying but I bought the laptop on eBay from a company without warranty, do you still suggest I send it into a shop?

Go to the manufacturer's web site

and ask them. If it's truly less than a year old, it should be under warranty. If there's no warranty and you have a hardware problem, you have no choice but to take it to a service technician.
I take it you don't see absolutely anything when you first power up, not even a logo or anything. If you do see something at first, you could try Safe Mode, but if there's absolutely nothing that appears, it sure sounds like a hardware problem.

Good luck.

They had a laptop fail and thought it was not covered. Nice to read it was.

Try {Fn + F8} which should restore a display from dark screen. Chances are that your desktop will be re-arranged, but you can easily fix that once you are back up.
