Apr 4, 2016 11:48AM PDT

I need to make some questions to a person who works in something related to technology about their work. It would help me to choose my career field and with a project. If someone can help I'll appreciate it. these are the questions thank you for your help.
1.What are the duties /functions/ responsibilities of your job?
2.what jobs,experiences,and/or educational attainments led you to your present position?
3.What skills and talents are especially useful and necessary for this position?
4.What sorts of changes are occurring in your occupation?
5.Is there flexibility related to dress,work hours,vacation schedule,place of residence,etc..?
6.If your job progresses as you like, what would be the next step in your career?
7.How secure is employment in your career field?
8.If your job were suddenly eliminated, what other kinds of employment do you feel prepared to do?
9.How is the economy affecting this industry?
10.What are the major frustrations of this job?
11.Are there "hidden benefits" or drawbacks in your job; factors that may not be obvious at first glance?
12.What advice would you give to someone just starting out in your line of work?
13. What is the title and company where you work(what is your name)?
Sincerely

Clarification Request
That's a lot of detail you are asking for.

I fear that few will answer such a probing set or questions. If I was to try this I'd strive to reduce this to 5 questions. Otherwise folk may walk or stop and leave.

Sorry

I know that is too much but I don't have more option. I have to answer all of those questions because those are the ones they asked me
I hope someone with a big heart could help me

Well, there's online surveys.
Apr 4, 2016 1:09PM PDT

As you know, you can get 100 samples which gives you a lot of statiscal power without a lot of work reducing the data.

Your survey is sadly full of what could be answers that could be paragraphs of text to each question. I stopped short of calling it a poorly designed survey but I think you knew that.

help

I guess it is poorly designed because it was supposed to be an interview, no a survey. But I don't know any one who works on that field. It is my first semester on college so I though I could find help through this page. If you know something that could help I'll appreciate it. How does those online surveys you mentioned work?
Thanks for answering

The best way is to dive in and do it.

I'm sure you know how to find free online surveys but since this is an interview then maybe it's not done online but you get your recorder handy and find your interviewees then go do it.

Given you are not doing a survey where we are dealing with statistics, you would spend a lot of time at your favorite coffee house and pay for the coffee and danish then I'm sure folk will show up.

I think you discovered that forums don't work well for surveys or interviews. That's why you do your survey then print out sheets to post on the usual bulletin boards or if you can, visit a local company that has the right target audience. Usually they are only open to this if you are an intern.

My advice is to change it to a survey form and get your free 100 answers.

As I can see it is not a good idea to do it. Can you explain me how forums work? this is my first time and I would like to learn. What is this forum about? I'll keep waiting to see if someone help me, unfortunately I find a little hard to do what you suggest because of the little English that I know. Thanks either way

Different forums have different rules and goals.

Survey spam appears so often that it's removed from this forum almost always without notice. This forum is about discussion of your issues on PCs, Cameras, Cars and so on. If you check the topics and the forum policies you don't see how surveys fit in.

I offered you some ideas about the top post so you might rejigger it into a survey that you can get 100 free answers. I don't write which one since it may fire off the spam bot.

Your English is fine.

can you?

Do you think that you could answer to my questions if I make them simpler and turn it into a survey? Since you are available to help I can try to make right for you

Sure.

Put them on a survey site so anonymity is almost assured and drop me a line via my email here. CNET has email spam proofed so click on my name, then the Email there to send me the survey (survey monkey or such.)

I seems I can't write the reply.

Spam bot hates the usual survey names. It's a shame folk spammed that out of existence.

Maybe you can help me through email, can you ?

Since email addresses leak. Sorry.

But feel free to create an online survey and then email me the link via my profile.

Answer
I would not answer if asked

to me, a couple of those questions could be a part of social engineering scams. Throw in a few questions to make those who answer feel at ease, then whamo...

Don't worry it is not a scam.

Maybe if you read my another responses you can understand why I did it that way.
